Madyson Achorn is the daughter of Kevin and Brenda Achorn, of Winslow. Maddy has been a member of the Student Senate all four years and is the current president. She is also the class treasurer and a member of the National Honor Society. Maddy has participated in several varsity sports, including field hockey, basketball, and competition cheering, for which she was one of the captains her senior year. Madyson has received several awards including the Field Hockey KVAC All-Academic Award, the Competition Cheering KVAC All-Academic Award, the Competition Cheering Raider Award, the Student Sage Award, and Student of the Month.
Adeline Blackstone is the daughter of Joshua and Renee Blackstone, of Winslow. Addie was an avid cheerleader on both the fall and winter varsity teams, and she was the captain of both teams twice. She has served as the class secretary since her freshman year. Addie is a member of the National Honor Society and the Student Senate, and she was chosen to attend Dirigo State last year. In addition, she has received several awards, including the Frederick Douglass Award, the Susan B. Anthony Award, the Daughters of the American Revolution Excellence in History Silver Medal, Student of the Month, the honor roll, and the ShineOnCass Service Award, whose funds she used to start the unified cheer team. After graduating, Addie will be attending the Berkshire Institute for Christian Studies, and then she will attend Thomas College, where she will study elementary education.
Emily-Lynn Carlson is the daughter of Glenn and Krista Carlson, of Winslow. Emmy has performed in several plays throughout high school. In addition, she is an avid dancer at Stage Presence for Dancers, where she has been a member of a number of dance teams. In 2024, she was one of the class marshals who ushered the graduating class to receive their diplomas. Emmy is a member of the Student Senate and the National Honor Society. She received the St. Michael's Book Award during her junior year, was recognized as Student of the Month, and has maintained honor roll status all four years. In the fall, Emmy will be attending Endicott College, studying business management.
Kyri Meak is the daughter of Sim and Sem Meak, of Winslow. During her time at WHS, Kyri participated in soccer and track and field. She is the 2025 class historian and a member of the National Honor Society. Other accomplishments include making the honor roll all four years of high school, receiving the Maine Section of the Society of Women’s Engineers Certificate of Achievement, and being the recipient of the Stephen V. Belanger Memorial Award. In the fall, Kyri will be studying biology at University of Maine at Farmington.
Katherine Nichols is the daughter of Brenda and Chris Nichols, of Winslow. During her time at WHS, Kate has been a part of many varsity sports teams, including field hockey, ice hockey, unified basketball and softball, whose team won the Class B Northern Regional Championship in 2022. Kate is a member of the National Honor Society and the recipient of a number of awards, including the KVAC All-Academic Award for field hockey and ice hockey, the KVAC All-Conference Award for field hockey, the Black Tiger Award in ice hockey, the Saint Michael’s Award, and the honor roll. Kate plans to attend Wesleyan University in the fall, majoring in government.
Brady Poulin is the son of Bruce and Destiny Poulin, of Winslow. Brady played varsity soccer and varsity basketball, and was the captain of both teams his senior year. He has earned high honors during all four years of high school, was recognized as Student of the Month, and is a member of the National Honor Society. Brady plans to attend Kennebec Valley Community College in the fall, majoring in electrical technology.
Adelinn Sillanpaa is the daughter of Alex Sillanpaa, of New Vineyard, and Rachel Merrill, of Winslow. Addie has participated in several sports throughout her high school career, including soccer, winter cheering, tennis, and indoor and outdoor track. She has also been a member of Student Senate, the math team, and the National Honor Society, and she has made the honor roll all four years. Addie is undecided about her future plans at this time.
Maximilian Spicer is the son of Scott and Katie Spicer, of Winslow. He is the senior class vice president and a member of Student Senate and the National Honor Society. During his time at WHS, he has participated in soccer, indoor track, outdoor track, and baseball. In addition, he received the Bausch and Lomb Award and has made the honor roll all four years. In the fall, Max will be attending the University of Maine, where he will study biochemistry.
Sophia Sullivan is the daughter of Michael and Cindy Sullivan, of Winslow. She has taken part in several varsity sports teams over her high school career, including field hockey, ice hockey, lacrosse, and softball, serving as captain of the current team. She also took part in unified basketball during her sophomore and senior years. Sophia is a member of the National Honor Society and Student Senate. She has received several awards, including the KVAC All-Academic Award for field hockey and ice hockey, the Maine Field Hockey Association All-State Award, the Girls Ice Hockey All-Star Game Participant Award, the Hobey Baker Character Award, and the Student Sage Award. In addition, she has made the honor roll all four years. Sophia will be attending Bates College, where she will major in history and politics and continue to play field hockey.
Dillon Whitney is the son of Brian and Hillary Whitney, of Burnham. Dillon is a member of the National Honor Society and has participated in soccer, basketball, indoor track, baseball, and tennis. He earned the KVAC All-Academic for baseball and soccer, the Coach’s Award for soccer, the Eagle Scout Award, and the All-Around Jazz Band Award. Dillon will be attending the University of Maine in the fall, majoring in chemical engineering.
